Coming Soon (or, you know, Already Here since you're reading this)

A generic black background pattern with "hello" on it.

This is SevPop, a brand new site by Randy Slavey that's just getting started. Things will be up and running here shortly, but you can subscribe in the meantime if you'd like to stay up to date and receive emails when new content is published!

And that, my friends, is the kind of high-quality marketing AI-generated chipper bullshit you can expect to never read here again. Seriously, who thought that was a good opener?

  1. No shit it's a new site. See how it has exactly one post? Also, "brand" new is just annoying.
  2. So, it's a new site and it's just getting started? Does subscribing here automatically sign me up for the tautology club as well?
  3. Things will be up and running here when I'm goddam good and ready.
  4. Okay, you can subscribe. That's reasonable.
  5. Dear, welcome message writers. You knew that "up to date" was not supposed to be "up-to-date" because it's not an adjective, yet you still somehow managed to fuck up brand-new site? I can take grammatically correct or grammatically incorrect, but be consistent.

So yeah, the site is here. As to why, it's because I like to write, but I also like to stop doing things. To be more accurate, I don't like to stop doing things, I just can't not stop doing things because I actually love to start doing new things, and there are only so many things a person can start doing without stopping something else, and maybe if I have to pay $8 to keep this active, it'll be incentive enough to keep coming back. I've seen what people with gym memberships and this mentality look like, so I have no reason to believe this site will not be equally successful.
